NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said he had discussed the situation in Ukraine, its implications for energy markets and the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Europe with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
"Good call with President Aliyev. We addressed regional security and Russia's military build-up in and around Ukraine, including implications on energy markets. I thanked Azerbaijan for increasing gas supplies and being a reliable energy supplier to Europe," Stoltenberg tweeted Tuesday.
