Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will discuss the export of Ukrainian grain at talks in Turkey as part of a top-level conversation, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, RIA Novosti reported.
"The foreign minister will be in Turkey next week, he has contacts planned there. And of course, the topic of Ukrainian grain will be high on the agenda in continuation of the telephone conversation at the highest level," Peskov told reporters.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia is ready to ensure the safe export of grain and escort ships to international waters of the Black Sea after Kiev cleared the waters.
