Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a meeting with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi immediately after arriving in Tehran on a state visit on Wednesday, Mehr reported.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Tehran to hold talks with Iranian officials, including the country's president, on issues of mutual interest.

According to RIA Novosti, the Russian foreign minister said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is considering meeting with Iranian President Raisi.
