At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, the government of Armenia approved the medium-term state expenditure program for 2023-2025, and the revised government debt reduction program for 2022-2026.

Presenting the matter, Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan noted as follows, in particular: "The year will be concluded close to the target of economic growth—with 7-percent GDP growth. Inflation is still higher than the set target, which is mainly due to the significant inflation in world markets. (…). The economic growth target for the next three years is set at 7 percent per year. (…). There will be an improvement in the government's debt-to-GDP indicators. By the end of 2025, it will be in the range of 55-56 percent."
