China imposed sanctions against the heads of the American companies Raytheon Technologies and Boeing Defense for supplying weapons to Taiwan, said Mao Ning, an official spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, RIA Novosti reported.

In her statement, Mao Ning noted that in order to protect China's sovereignty and security interests, the Chinese government has decided to impose sanctions on the chairman and CEO of Raytheon Technologies and the president and CEO of Boeing Defense.
