The plane with Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has just landed at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.

During the visit on September 17-19, Pelosi will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic Alen Simonyan and other high-ranking officials to discuss Armenian-American relations and the current  security situation.

The speaker of the US House of Representatives will speak at a press conference, lay a wreath at the Armenian Genocide Memorial and deliver a speech at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.  The speech will be available live at www.speaker.gov/newsroom.

Pelosi will touch on issues of close cooperation between the two countries, which is based on common values and long-standing ties between the two peoples.

The US delegation included Chairman of the US House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce Frank Pallone and members of the House of Representatives Anna Eshoo and Jackie Speier.
