Turkish banks Is Bankasi and DenizBank confirmed to RIA Novosti that they have stopped servicing Russian Mir cards.

"Yes, on September 16 it was decided to stop servicing Mir cards," the Is Bankasi reference center said. The agency's interlocutor noted that the decision was made in connection with the U.S. and British sanctions against Russia.
