The Russian embassy in Yerevan on Wednesday congratulated the Armenian citizens on the Republic of Armenia’s (RA) national holiday: Independence Day anniversary. The congratulatory message reads as follows, in part:
"Brotherly Armenia, like Russia, is going through hard times.
The Russian Federation contributes and intends to continue to contribute to the RA’s economic prosperity, real sovereignty, and the strengthening of the security of the Armenian people—including through consistent, very difficult, and time-consuming work to promote the peace agenda in the region.
We grieve with you for the loss and extend our sincere condolences.
Russia has always been and will be standing with our brotherly country—not in words, but in deeds."
