The Ministry of Defense of Belarus announced on Telegram that it can create 500 thousand trained reservists.

"The military department, if necessary, can create 500 thousand reserve resources," the respective message says.

According to Viktor Khrenin, Minister of Defense of Belarus, the work with the reserve troops is carried out "absolutely planned."

Also, the defense minister stressed that Belarus does not need to create a contract army because 60 percent of its armed forces are contract soldiers.
