YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia on Saturday attended the Investigative Committee meeting dedicated to the Day of the Investigative Committee Officer, the PM’s office reports.

According to Pashinyan, he has been visiting the Investigative Committee for five years now on this day and every time he tries to find an answer to the questions: What has changed over the course of this time? Where are they headed? And what is the vector of the changes that are taking place?

"The basis of all our actions should be the Republic of Armenia, the state, and the national interest," Pashinyan noted, in particular.

The premier added that investigations of the cases related to the 44-day Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in the fall of 2020 are opening new layers.

Also, the PM awarded the Mkhitar Ghosh Medal to two senior Investigative Committee officers, in recognition of their contribution to strengthening the rule of law and legality in Armenia.

In addition, Pashinyan awarded a group of officers of the Investigative Committee with the premier's commemorative medal.
