The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi and Assistant to the President and Secretary of Kazakhstan's Security Council Gizat Nurdauletov discussed preparations for the upcoming meetings of the CSTO charter bodies, scheduled for November in Armenia, press secretary of the organization Vladimir Zaynetdinov reported.

"The meetings focused on preparations for the upcoming meetings of the organization's statutory bodies scheduled in November in Armenia," he pointed out.

The sides also discussed the situation in the CSTO area of responsibility with a focus on the situation in the Central Asian region. The discussions took place during the secretary general's meetings in Kazakhstan.
