The demand to withdraw Azerbaijani troops from the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia was voiced at the highest level both by Yerevan and its international partners, Artur Hovhannisyan, secretary of the ruling majority Civil Contract Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, noted about this at Monday’s press briefing in the NA.
According to him, Armenia should force Baku to withdraw its troops through discussions and international pressure. "We hope that we will be able to register a positive shift in this direction," Hovhannisyan said.
