The students of Valery Brusov State University of linguistics of Armenia are holding a protest march in the capital Yerevan and heading towards the main government building.

They are protesting against the government's initiative, according to which this university, as well as the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, will be joined to the Armenian State Pedagogical University.

The rector of Brusov university had stated that the aforesaid initiative was kept secret from them, they have arguments, and are against the closing of the university.

But Vahram Dumanyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, had announced that the heads of the aforementioned universities were aware of this plan.
