A US delegation, led by chairman David Price of the Democracy Partnership committee of the House of Representatives, on Tuesday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.

Price laid a wreath at the monument commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, after which the members of the visiting US delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a minute of silence to honor the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Also, the guests were informed about the story of the three cross-stones placed at the Memorial area in memory of the Armenians who died in the massacres organized by the Azerbaijani government at the end of the last century in the Azerbaijani cities of Sumgait, Kirovabad (Gandzak), and Baku.

In addition, the guests from the US were escorted to Memorial Wall, in the back of which are laid the remains of foreigners who had raised their voice of protest against the Armenian Genocide.
