More than 3.96 million people were affected by Tropical Storm Nalji that struck the Philippines. According to a report released Thursday by the National Council for Risk and Disaster Management, 150 people were affected by the storm.

The agency said 1.21 million displaced people are in 2,094 evacuation centers. More than 355.4 thousand people left their homes beforehand. At least 128 people have received various injuries, 36 are listed as missing. More than 1.5 thousand incidents connected with the natural disaster, including floods and landslides, were recorded in 13 regions of the country.

The storm damaged 12,9 thousand houses and destroyed 2,19 thousand. Damage to 367 infrastructure objects was estimated at 2,83 billion pesos ($48,18 mln). As a result of the disaster 499 roads and 120 bridges were damaged. In 354 cities were fixed interruptions in power supply, but in 200 it is already restored, in 38 municipalities there are problems with communication, in 9 - with water supply.

Classes have been suspended in 666 educational institutions and work at 233 enterprises. In 292 cities a disaster regime was in force. Damage to agriculture is estimated at 2.44 billion pesos (41.53 million dollars). The government has already allocated 136.84 million pesos ($2.32 million) to provide aid.
