The Ukrainian armed forces are conducting offensive actions from the settlement of Popasna to the Kharkiv Oblast, LPR People's Militia officer Andrei Marochko said on the air of the TV channel Solovyov Live.

"Ukrainian troops are trying to break through our defense line practically starting from the settlement of Popasna to the Kharkiv region. Along the entire line, the enemy is conducting offensives," the officer said, stressing that the overall situation in the Luhansk direction is "stably tense."

On Tuesday, Marochko said that the Ukrainian command threw its main forces into this direction and considered it one of the priorities. According to him, the Ukrainian military is pulling armored vehicles towards local towns, particularly towards Lysychansk and Popasna, in order to break through the defense.
