The cost of copper rose slightly on Wednesday, trading data show.

March futures for copper on the Comex exchange rose 0.1% to $3.65 a pound (about 0.45 kilograms).

At London Metal Exchange (LME), the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months rose by 0.99% to $8,037.5, aluminum - by 0.72%, to $2,379.5 and zinc - fell by 0.09% to $2,934.5.
