Azerbaijan is investigating the "crime" of attempting to transport Armenian-made products from Iran.

According to Azerbaijani media, 24,820 containers used in construction work and 1,050 empty cardboard boxes for packaging of silicone product containers of Armenian origin were detected at the customs checkpoint of the main customs department in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.

It was found that these goods were sent by a company operating in Iran to the address of an individual in Azerbaijan.

The State Customs Committee and the State Security Service of Azerbaijan are conducting a joint investigation into this incident.
