
Armenia ranks second among the countries where Russians plan to go for a holiday weekend February 22-26, according to analysts of travel service Tutu.
According to analysts, about 14% of demand for independent travelers falls on foreign destinations. At the first place in the ranking was Turkey, where 14.94% of travelers plan to go. The average cost of tickets for two trips is 36 thousand rubles (about $510).
"Armenia is on the second place, where 13.6% of travelers plan to go. The average bill for a return ticket is Br26.9 thousand (about $380)," noted the service.
Azerbaijan comes third among the three most popular countries. There 11.3% of travelers will go there. The average ticket price is about Br30 thousand (more than $425).
As for the neighboring countries, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan entered into the rating. As for more distant destinations, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and Israel are popular.
