The agreement "Between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Georgia on mutual visa-free travels of citizens of the two countries" was signed on January 12, 2022, NEWS.am was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explaining the entry procedure for Armenian citizens to Georgia with an ID-card and to the UAE without a visa.

Once it enters into force, the Armenian citizens will be able to visit Georgia with ID-cards.

The agreement will come into force after mutual ratification, which will be officially announced by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Besides, Armenian citizens will be able to visit the United Arab Emirates without an entry visa.

The Armenian government in particular approved the proposal on "Amendments to Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Armenia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates of June 21, 2009 on exemption of holders of diplomatic passports from the requirement of an entry visa." This proposal was approved at the meeting on January 26.

Visiting the UAE without an entry visa will be possible after the protocol enters into force.

The planned changes will come into force after their mutual signing and ratification, which will also be officially announced.
