U.S. aircraft maker Boeing plans to cut about 2,000 employees in 2023, the Seattle Times reported.

They will mostly take place in the finance and human resources departments, Boeing said.

As noted in the article, some of the functions of the employees to be cut will be outsourced to the Indian IT company Tata Consulting Services.
