Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Russian Foreign Minister and OSCE Minsk Group co-chair Igor Khovaev, a special representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, to support the settlement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno Karabakh caused by Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor and steps to overcome it, the press service of the Armenian government informed NEWS.am.

Pashinyan touched upon the fact of Azerbaijan's repeated violations of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020 and the need to fully implement the commitments under the statement. Issues related to the possibility of settling relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the Karabakh problem were also discussed.
