Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in Syria, arrived in Aleppo. The press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Minister was met at the airport by Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab.

Mirzoyan visited the quake-stricken Shaar region, where Armenian rescuers carried out search and rescue operations during the first days after the earthquake, and familiarized himself with the situation.

The Armenian FM also met with the staff of the Humanitarian-Expert Center for Mine Action in Aleppo.

Earlier the media reported that Mirzoyan arrived in Damascus airport with 36.6 tons of food and other essentials for the earthquake victims to be unloaded at Aleppo International Airport.
