A new strong earthquake has been registered in eastern Turkey's Malatya province.

As reported on Monday by the Department of Emergency Situations (AFAD), its magnitude was 5.6.

The epicenter was located at a depth of 6.9 kilometers in the county of Yesilyurt in Malatya province. So far, there has been no information about possible victims or casualties or new destruction.
