The Russian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers talked about the progress of the negotiation process aimed at unblocking transport and economic routes in the South Caucasus. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced this on Tuesday at his joint news conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in Azerbaijani capital Baku.
"We expect that in the near future, the prime ministers of Russia and Armenia, as co-chairs of the relevant tripartite working group, will be able to reach concrete agreements regarding the resumption of the use of the railway route between Azerbaijan and the main area of Nakhchivan," the Russian FM added.
