The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs reacted to the bloody events that took place in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on March 5, clearly pointing out that the Artsakh police vehicle was targeted by the Azerbaijani side, reported the RFE/RL Armenian Service.

The French foreign ministry noted in a statement that it regrets the casualties of that major incident, during which a vehicle transporting policemen was targeted by Azerbaijani forces in the area of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers near the Lachin corridor.

The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs considers it necessary to shed light on all the facts related to this incident.

Also, the French foreign ministry calls for strict adherence to the ceasefire.
