The propaganda of hatred against Armenians has intensified in Azerbaijan in recent times. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this at Wednesday’s session of the National Assembly of Armenia, answering the questions of the MPs.

The Armenian FM added, however, that the negotiations on a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan are still in progress.

"We have received proposals again from the Azerbaijani side, and we are working on them. We will submit our response and proposals in the near future," said Mirzoyan.

According to him, Azerbaijan’s belligerent rhetoric and aggressive stance not only do not contribute to the peace process, but also create new risks.

However, as the Armenian FM noted that the Armenian side is steadfast, and its position is unchanged.

"We will continue the negotiations to establish stable peace in the region," Mirzoyan added.
