On June 9, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan, together with the RA Military Prosecutor, Deputy Prosecutor General Grigor Elizbaryan, paid a working visit to the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Sevan Garrison.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office, during the working meeting the prosecutors of the Sevan Garrison reported on the criminal proceedings, which have been investigated for a long time and are of greatest complexity. As a result of the discussion, Vardapetyan gave instructions on how to conduct an effective investigation.

She also touched upon criminal proceedings pending for more than 8 months and mentioned the need to comply with the deadlines for these proceedings.

During the visit, Prosecutor General Vardapetyan also had meetings with the personnel performing combat duty in the Verin Shorzha village of Gegharkunik Province and got acquainted with the situation in the contact zone.
