The security guarantees of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) are one of the most important and most complicated points in these negotiations. Alen Simonyan, speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, told about this to reporters Tuesday.

"At the time, everyone was criticizing the authorities that left Artsakh out of the negotiation process. Now we have brought Artsakh in some capacity, in some way, in some format, we are trying to get it to become part of the negotiations. But no one is talking about it, they are saying the opposite. If it weren’t for that issue, we would have signed the peace treaty [with Azerbaijan] three or four times already," Simonyan said.
