A trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Moscow and Azerbaijan has started in Moscow, Russian news agency TASS reported.

The meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov was preceded by a bilateral meeting of Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov.

The three FMs are discussing the preparation of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as possible options for solving other issues. In addition, the ministers plan to address other important topics of the regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, including the unblocking of communications in the region and demarcation.

Apart from the trilateral negotiations, Sergey Lavrov will also have separate meetings with Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan. Lavrov will discuss with his colleagues the urgent issues of Russian-Azerbaijani and Russian-Armenian relations in the political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres.
