All roads in Armenia will undergo safety inspection in the near future. Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Kristine Ghalechyan announced this at Tuesday’s session of the National Assembly.

"Based on the conclusions of the auditors, compliance with all safety rules will be inspected. This applies also to the course of [road] construction work; in particular, to the installation of road signs and other technical requirements," Ghalechyan said.

Also, she noted that starting next year, their ministry will try to conduct an inspection of all roads in Armenia; but until then, monitoring will be tightened.
