Citizens concerned about the fate of Artsakh are holding a rally in Republic Square in Yerevan. They demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan over his handling of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Protests took place in different streets of Yerevan since morning; many streets were closed. The police detained hundreds of citizens, including opposition MP Tadevos Avetisyan, former MP Gagik Minasyan, journalist Davit Sargsyan, YSU lecturer Tsolak Akopyan.
At this moment, there is heavy police presence in Republic Square.
