The largest number of Nagorno Karabakh citizens were forcibly displaced from Stepanakert: 27,408. Armen Ghazaryan, head of the MIA Migration and Citizenship Service, said this at a press conference presented data on the support provided by the Humanitarian Center.
He noted next come the Martakert district - more than 10,000, the Askeran district - more than 7,500, the Martuni district - about 7,000, and so on.
Of the 55,240 people registered, 26,575 are men, and 28,670 are women. Among them, there are 1,172 disabled persons and 133 pregnant women.
Armen Ghazaryan informed that first and foremost the needs of forcibly displaced persons are assessed.
As of 6 p.m., 74,400 forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh have arrived in the Republic of Armenia.
