There is no issue of refusing cooperation with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on Armenia's agenda. Hakob Arshakyan, deputy speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, announced this to reporters at the NA Tuesday.

"Such a matter was not discussed," he said.

The NA vice-speaker noted that Armenia has turned down the CSTO aid package because the CSTO does not record where the territory of this organization begins and ends.

"Sadly, that territory and the concrete map of Armenia with its borders have not been recorded; that is the problem," Arshakyan said.

And responding to the question of whether Armenia can refuse cooperation with the CSTO, Arshakyan said: "Such a matter has not been discussed on Armenia's agenda. I said what the challenge is, where the issues came from; these matters need to be addressed. From my point of view, they have not been addressed."

It became known Monday that Armenia had asked its CSTO partners to remove the document on the Collective Security Treaty Organization aid to Armenia from the agenda.
