None of the 32 Armenian captives, who were transferred from Azerbaijan to Armenia, was transferred to civilian medical centers. Anahit Avanesyan, the Minister of Health of Armenia, announced this in a briefing with reporters Thursday.

"A preliminary medical examination was carried out at the Muratsan hospital [in Yerevan]. At the moment, there are no people transferred to civilian medical centers; there was no need for it," said Avanesyan.

And when asked if there will be a need for such medical examinations in the near future, Avanesyan responded that she does not see such a need at the moment.

Armenian News-NEWS.am had reported that on December 7, the office of the prime minister of Armenia and the administration of the president of Azerbaijan issued a joint statement, in which it was said that Azerbaijan will be releasing 32 Armenian servicemen, and Armenia—two convicted Azerbaijani soldiers. The exchange of these servicemen took place Wednesday at the Kazakh (Azerbaijan)-Ijevan (Armenia) sector of the border between the two countries. And Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the names of the Armenian captives who returned to Armenia.
