Russian President Vladimir Putin expects to meet with leaders of the other member countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) during an informal meeting in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

"I would like to ask you to convey my warmest greetings to the heads of your countries, whom I hope to meet very soon, in late December, at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and during the informal meeting of the heads of the CIS countries to be held in Saint Petersburg," said the Russian president in his address to the participants at the Meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government.

To note, Armenia also is a member in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
