YEREVAN. - The Co-Founder of Apple Computers Inc. Steve Wozniak will visit Armenia on November 10-11 to receive the Global Award of the President of the Republic of Armenia for Outstanding Contribution to Humanity through IT 2011 (Global IT Award 2011) .

The Award Ceremony will take place on Nomember 11, at 19:00 in the Presidential House.

Before the awarding ceremony RA President Serzh Sargsyan will have a meeting with Steve Woznyak. 

Mr. Steve Woznyak is the second Laureate for the Global Award of the President of the Republic of Armenia for Outstanding Contribution to Humanity. The first Laureate - Mr. Craig Barrett, received the Global IT Award from the RA President Serzh Sargsyan on June 28th, 2010 in the Presidential House.

The program of Mr. Steve Woznyak’s visit includes meetings with RA Prime-Minister, RA Government officials, IT business community representatives, leading university management teams, students, professors and scientists.
