The meetings with the residents of Kirants and Aygepar villages of Tavush Province were very important. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during the National Assembly’s question-and-answer session with the Armenian government Wednesday.

"The concerns that the residents of Voskepar, Kirants, as well as neighboring villages have, all those concerns are legitimate. What I am saying is that we have to solve that problem,” Pashinyan added, in particular.

And reflecting on the accusations that the Armenian authorities will be conceding several villages in Tavush Province to Azerbaijan, Pashinyan said: "When we say ‘concession,’ we must know what we are conceding. What concession is it about? Our [i.e. the Armenian authorities] position is as follows: The border between Armenia and Azerbaijan should be subjected delimitation based on the Alma Ata declaration of 1991, and then to demarcation. What is ours is ours, what is not ours is not ours. We shall be guided by this logic. This is the most important factor in ensuring Armenia's security."
