MARDIN. – The 2011 Women’s World Team Chess Championship got underway in Mardin, Turkey. And in Round 1, Armenia’s women defeated Greece with a score of 4-0.

Armenia and Georgia lead the current standings.

In Round 2, Armenia’s women will face Georgia.
