IJEVAN. – For already several days vandalism is occurring in Armenian Tavush region’s Ijevan city: several statues and benches in the city park have been broken.

It is not known who is responsible for the vandalism actions, but this is not the first time such things are happening in Ijevan, Ijevan city hall representative Hamlet Blbulyan told the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Now work is conducted towards repairing the damaged property.

According to the Ijevan Mayor Vardan Ghalumyan, these actions are being done in order to hurt the reputation of the mayor.
