YEREVAN. – The opposition Heritage Party’s proportional list, in Armenia’s upcoming parliamentary elections, is not that of Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian. If it were his list, he would have been in the twentieth spot, whereas the youth and MPs would have been higher up. Hovannisian himself stated this during a press conference on Friday.  

In his words, the opposition Free Democrats Party’s places in the joint list was decided by the Free Democrats. And, in Hovannisian’s view, Heritage’s list, with its content, is the continuation of his hunger strike of the year past.   

The Heritage Party leader also reflected on the numerous information with respect to his having receiving orders and said: “If anyone is bewildered, or has suspicions, my order comes from my conscience, my faith, and my love, and from nowhere else.”
