STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received a group of intellectuals from Armenia and Russia who arrived in the framework of ‘Russian Language Day’ project on Thursday.

As the press service of the NKR president informed Armenian News-NEWS.am, questions concerning Russian language lessons in Karabakh were discussed during the meeting.

President Sahakyan mentioned that he welcomes such projects and that Russian language is highly estimated in Karabakh as a means of culture development as well as developing relations between Armenians and Russians.

Minister of Education and Science Vladik Khachatryan and other officials also participated in the meeting.
