YEREVAN. - Partner relations between Armenia and Russia are based on friendship and fraternity, Armenian Speaker Samvel Nikoyan said during the meeting with Russian FM Sergey Lavrov.

Lavrov expressed gratitude for warm reception stressing this year marks 15th anniversary of Russian-Armenian treaty on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance.

He recalled that the countries are developing bilateral relations in all fields, pointing out increase in trade turnover, joint programs and the volume of investments.

The Russian Minister said Moscow attaches importance both to bilateral cooperation and to strengthening of ties within the international agencies.
