YEREVAN. – Armenian speaker of parliament Samvel Nikoyan received the Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov on Tuesday.

As the press service of the Armenian parliament informed Armenian, both sides stressed the importance of deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation and organizing visits on both sides.

The Armenian parliament speaker mentioned that efforts must be done in order to deepen trade and economic relations between the two countries as the opportunities of economic cooperation are not used on a satisfactory level.

The Bulgarian PM spoke about the centuries-old Armenian-Bulgarian relations and mentioned the important role of the Armenian community in Bulgaria. He also mentioned that works must be done towards simplifying the visa system which will greatly influence business, tourism and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
