YEREVAN. – The supervision with automatic weapons continues at the checkpoints and throughout the area of the building of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Hraparak daily reported.

“Yesterday [i.e. Friday], there were even more [NA] security officers; automatic weapons were hanging from the chest of all of them. Previously, they were unarmed; they were armed several days after the armed gang was rendered ineffective in Nork-Marash [district of capital city Yerevan].

“Yesterday, armed supervision was carried out at the government building, too.

“To recall, according to the news, the [said] gang had planned to attack the NA, the government, [and] the presidential [buildings].

“Perhaps the authorities are not sure that the danger has gone,” Hraparak wrote.
