YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party will kick off its National Assembly (NA) election campaign on April 9, Heritage’s leader Raffi Hovannisian informed during a press conference on Friday.
He recalled that in the previous elections, which were the Party’s first, the latter had won in the capital Yerevan. In his words, at that time Heritage had entered the NA despite the predictions by many.
As per Raffi Hovannisian, Heritage will be a complete alternative yet again, and it will triumph in the capital and in the entire country alike.
“We will take second place, at the very least, in the whole republic,” Hovannisian noted, but added they prefer to take first spot.
Also, he stressed they will give an assessment on May 7, that is, the day following the elections.
