Kurdish businessmen can work in Armenia to facilitate their access to other markets, Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan said in Erbil during the meeting with head of investment commission of Iraqi Kurdistan Herish Muharam Muhammad.

Armen Gervorgyan, as a co-chair of Armenia-Iraq commission on economic cooperation, discussed formation of business ties, exchange of information on business and investment environment. The sides expressed readiness to implement mutually beneficial projects.  

Official from Iraqi Kurdistan presented the programs carried out in the autonomy, business and investment opportunities, as well as benefits provided to investors.

Deputy Prime Minister also met with the Governor of Erbil province Nawzad Hadi to discuss prospects for regional development and territorial administration system. Gevorgyan presented the policy of balanced territorial development of Armenia, discussed the possibility to develop ties and cooperation between the countries’ regions.
