YEREVAN.- The issues on creation of service centers within CSTO were discussed in Yerevan. The CSTO delegation headed by Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha participated in the meeting of Interstate commission on coordination of events held within CSTO.

Talking to reporters, Bordyuzha said the delegation will hold series of events to improve cooperation in defense sector, create service centers to repair military equipment.

“Armenia is one of the most active CSTO members and always brings forward interesting proposals and initiates different programs aimed at ensuring Armenia’s security,” Bordyuzha said.

In his turn, Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan noted that over 20 events will be held within Armenia-CSTO cooperation in 2013. Armenia is also holding talks to create a humanitarian center on emergency situations.

As to the certified service centers, they will work in the interests of both Armenia and, most likely,  other states as a business project.
