YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will sign cultural cooperation agreements with the governments of Indonesia and Iraq. The matter of approving these agreements is included in the agenda of Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

According to the report which the Culture Ministry has submitted, ever since its independence, Armenia has not conducted state-level cultural cooperation with Indonesia, whereas cooperation with Iraq is at the formation phase. 

Cultural cooperation with Iraq is especially important in the domain of ethnic and folk art. And cultural cooperation with Indonesia is envisioned in cinema, exhibitions, and concerts.
