YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday received Twitter Vice President Raffi Krikorian.

The President welcomed the guest and underscored his visit to Armenia, informed the Press Office of the President.

Stressing that the development of the information technology (IT) sector is a priority of Armenia’s economy, Sargsyan considered the Armenians’’ successes in this sector to be joyous and at the same time a benchmark for the young generation.

For his part, Krikorian briefed the President on his meetings that were held along the lines of his visit to Armenia. In his words, these talks inspire great hope because there are inspiring examples in connection with IT development, and these examples make this sector’s development in Armenia become full of prospect.

Raffi Krikorian is on a visit to Armenia at the invitation of TUMO center of creative technologies.
